Co-Regeneration arises from a troubling observation: as you travel along the roads of Spain, you encounter stretches of flat, monotonous land, devoid of life, which have been damaged due to intensive farming. These environments, so lacking in biodiversity, made me think about alternative agricultural methods that would not deplete the landscape. The idea of Co-Regeneration was inspired by a project in La Junquera, Murcia, where a multidisciplinary team is actively working to restore the land through regenerative agricultural practices. After years of intensive farming, the soil becomes sterile, devoid of life, and turns into gray dust. However, through restorative efforts, the land slowly starts to regain its texture and color, taking on warmer and more vibrant hues. The works presented here are created from the very soil that is being regenerated. I seek renewal through the interaction between conscious human work and the spontaneous process of nature. It is a testament to the symbiosis that occurs when human intention aligns with natural rhythms—a constant movement towards life and transformation.
